The London Apartment

The London Apartment is an entirely custom project planned and executed by ONIRO Group for an exclusive, private client from Shenzhen. This bright and peaceful apartment is situated in a prestigious complex in one of the most coveted residential districts of the English capital’s centre. The spaces that make up the dwelling—a living room, a dining room and a bedroom—radiate an evocative classical style that is delicate and light, rich in artistic and cultural allusions, and in keeping with the vivacious and sophisticated personality of the client.

The Fuji Line takes centre stage in the apartment’s interior, with its unmistakable style and sophisticated charm. Distinguished by minimal, elegant lines, the furnishings of this collection feature glass elements made using a special artisanal technique that allows the glass to be engraved at several stages and at different depths to create a design with a three-dimensional effect that is unique to each piece.

The apartment’s lavish dining room is furnished with a table, chairs and showcases from the line, all distinguished, in addition to the glass elements, by an exquisite brass structure matching the Shinto bookcase enhanced by glass inserts crafted with the same technique. The dining table is equipped with a revolving lazy Susan in cloudy onyx applied to the crystal top that has a special mechanism to rotate it automatically to the desired position by simply pressing a button. The showcase and the table are illuminated through the thickness of the glass, highlighting the engraved elements.

The living room includes an evocative mix of classic and contemporary elements. The centrepiece of this space is the Wheidon sofa with its soft, inviting lines enhanced by a light grey satin upholstery embellished with raised embroidered details. The same tone of fabric is repeated in the Ivy armchairs, whose aesthetic is expressed through the juxtaposition of the soft shapes of the seat and the decorative, classically carved base and feet. The table from the Shinto line completes the space as spectacular piece of furniture with a solid base of cast brass which contrasts with the polished top in cloudy onyx embellished with refined gold leaf adornments. It is a captivating combination of precious materials with the perfect balance of tradition and contemporary appeal.

In the bedroom area, sensual fabrics, warm, delicate tones and artistic touches create a chic, feminine atmosphere. The Madeleine line graces the bedroom with its soft shapes and timeless appeal. The bed has an elegant headboard distinguished by exquisite decorative elements cast in brass that show the exceptional level of artisanal skill and attention to detail that are typical of the Jumbo Collection brand. The night tables and vanity table in the same line complete the room’s furnishings. Made of maple, they feature drawers covered in leather and a cloudy onyx top, a lustrous combination evocative of the splendid interiors of Versailles.
