Jumbo Collection rediscovers its true heritage with a collection that celebrates classic French style, on display at the Salone del Mobile.Milano.

The furnishings stand out for their exquisite and luxurious materials and are enhanced by the sophisticated techniques used to craft them, ranging from traditional techniques such as carving, inlays and gold leaf finishes, to highly innovative processes like laser engraving that leads to the creation of astonishing decorations. The delicate colour palette, derived from the types of wood used and the pale fabrics, creates a sophisticated atmosphere, whilst the wainscoting and composition of the paintings on the walls illustrate the ability of Jumbo Collection to design environments that celebrate a concept of unique and exclusive luxury, the living expression and fulfilment of the customers’ dreams. The design culture that defines the brand can also be found in the unusual combination with JCP Universe experimental design artifacts and in the decorative elements that reinterpret tastes and styles from different eras.

Inside the space there are furnishing elements of great visual impact and exquisite workmanship such as the Eglantine sofa and armchair, set apart by their seductive lines and precious details. The soft and welcoming shapes are emphasised by a hand-carved band in a gold-leaf finish and by the fabric ruching that enriches the base.

That same styling is repeated in the Boulevard coffee table, characterised by handcarved legs and crosspiece, which are embellished with a gold-leaf finish. The top is in frisé maple wood, with sunburst inlays and brass inserts. Overall, the central low table is as a graceful and exquisite piece of furniture, which expresses the desire for decorative luxury.

The same room is adorned with the sublime Intrigue mirror, typically French in style and made of hand-carved wood with a patinated gold-leaf finish, imbuing it with an antique flavour. The white lacquered bas-relief on the upper coping is the final detail that enriches the whole look.

Even in the bedroom, the collection’s sumptuous style is fully expressed: the Chaine bed, in a classic French style, conveys a passion for attention to detail, craftsmanship and precious materials. The sumptuous headboard in hand-carved lime wood with a patinated antique gold finish has embroidered upholstering that follows the sinuous line of the headboard.

To complete the setting are the Ourlet dresser and night tables, perfect examples of the refined art of cabinet making and Italian artisan tradition. Created in maple stained a slightly darker shade, they feature delicate and bright decorative brass inserts. They are the ideal furnishing items for a bedroom with a regal and fairytale atmosphere.
